Unit 43.2 Market Research Radio Codes and Conventions Research Radio 1

I am going to be writing about my 3 chosen podcasts that i am going to analyse them splitting them into the codes and conventions such as is there any stings in there. Is there music in there at the start or in the end of the podcast. Is there a presenter in the podcast. I will also be going on to be talking about the impartuality and I will be going on to say and see if the presenter has an opinion for either side or see if the presenter has no opinion for either side. I will also be going on to speak about subjectivity and see if there is an opinion on there and see if the person will not admit to being wrong. I will also be talking about the accuracy of the presenter and see if he is presenting the news accurately

Radio 1 with Nick Grimshaw

Radio 1 is a presenter lead Radio show and the one I listened to was lead by Nick Grimshaw. There is a sting at the start when you click to listen to the Radio Station there is a Sting saying This is Radio 1 with Nick Grimshaw at the start. There is also music at the start and because it is a music radio show. There is impartuality which means Nick Grimshaw doesn't have an opinion for ether side of the argument he will just be asking questions to the celebrities for ether side. There is subjectivity in Radio which is where they do not test there opinions against the facts and will go by the facts. When there is for example a debate on Radio 1 there will be two sides of an argument one side will be arguing for one side and the other will be arguing there point. There is also Accuracy with the news that they tell you about celebrities.
